About this programme
German A1–A2 for onboarding: targeted language training for international specialists and apprentices for a successful start at the company.
Instead of getting lost in theoretical grammar, the focus from day one is on practical workplace communication, understanding work instructions and reducing language barriers among colleagues.
Key facts & format
- Target group: International employees, apprentices and career starters with little or no prior knowledge.
- Target level: CEFR A1 to A2.
- Duration & scope: 12 weeks | 2× per week, 90 minutes each (48 teaching units of 45 min. in total).
- Group size: Max. 8 people (for maximum speaking time per participant).
- Format: Interactive live online lessons with experienced teachers specialised in vocational German.
Learning goals & workplace content
A1 focus (weeks 1–6)
- Understand work instructions and safety briefings.
- Introduce yourself to the team and ask simple follow-up questions when something is unclear.
- Basic vocabulary for tools, times and scheduling appointments.
A2 focus (weeks 7–12)
- Write short handover notes and status updates.
- Make phone calls and simple arrangements with colleagues or customers.
- Write emails and absence notes using a template.
